Why I chose to study Japanese.
I decided to study Japanese because i think its a cool language to learn. It is very different to English in how it sounds, how your write, script and even sentence order, which i find very interesting. I also find speaking it very fun and enjoyable. I also like Japanese culture, and would love to learn more about it, i know they have lots of traditions and a rich history. I also like the technological innovation of Japan and think they are an extremely well run and efficient nation and i find that interesting as well. Lastly i love the politeness of Japanese people and think the country is beautiful and would love to visit there, so want to learn how to speak the language.

I share your passion about Japanese culture, and the language's proximity to Chinese makes it easier for me to learn. Having been to Japan for multiple times, I also agree on the politeness and amiability of Japanese people. You should definitely visit there if the opportunity came!
ReplyDeleteI love your earnestness when it comes to confronting a language so different from English! I adore studying such linguistic differences myself. And I do hope you get to travel to Japan someday (I've been twice myself), I think you'd really appreciate and respect the cultural differences well.
DeleteYes i would love to visit!! You guys are really lucky to have been, i plan on going sometime in the next year hopefully!
DeleteEven though Japanese is not totally a new language for me as I could roughly recognize the Kanji in Japanese, I still find it hard to learn, for I sometimes just mix the Chinese pronunciation with the Japanese one. I'm also a big fan of Japanese culture, and have been there for several times. Would definitely recommend you to go there during the cherry blossom season!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the suggestion! Yes that's a great idea that would be amazing to see
DeleteHello, my name is Hiromu Murozono. I can calculate well. Because I have played abacus since seven years old. Abacus is Japanese traditional tool. It’s frequent used edo era. But, many people learn abacus now. Especially, children can use very well. I belong to ritsumeikan university abacus club. I’ll practice hard. Thank you.
